Med Tech / Behavioral Health Technician (Detox & Residential)

Overview:

A Detox (DTX) and Residential Treatment (RTC) drug and alcohol treatment facility in Los Angeles is seeking a dependable Medication Technician / Behavioral Health Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in substance use disorder treatment who are comfortable supporting clients in early recovery.

Experience with Kipu EMR is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and document medications according to physician orders

• Complete documentation and charting in Kipu EMR

• Assist with client intakes and admissions

• Monitor clients in detox and residential levels of care

• Perform medication counts and ensure proper medication storage

• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization

• Provide client support and help maintain a safe recovery environment

Qualifications:

• Medication Technician experience preferred

• Experience with Kipu EMR strongly preferred

• RADT certification preferred

• CPR / First Aid certification preferred

• Experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health treatment a plus

• Strong communication, reliability, and attention to detail

Schedule:

Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available
