We are currently looking for a dedicated and reliable Medication Technician (Med Tech) to join our growing team.

As a Med Tech, you play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive safe, accurate, and timely medication assistance while also supporting their daily care needs.

This position is perfect for someone who is compassionate, detail-oriented, and thrives in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as directed and in accordance with state guidelines
• Accurately document medication administration and report any changes or concerns
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Monitor residents for side effects or changes in condition
• Follow all community policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Work closely with caregivers and leadership to ensure quality care

Experience

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home health environments is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of related to senior care, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, hospice support, and memory care.
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring specialized caregiving is a plus.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for accurate medical documentation is desirable.
• Previous roles involving medication administration, vital signs monitoring, tube feeding management, or catheter care will be advantageous.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical records management ensures compliance and confidentiality.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
