We are seeking a dedicated certified Med Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and a strong background in patient-centered care.

*** IF YOU DO NOT HOLD A CURRENT WASHINGTON STATE CNA / HCA LICENSE THEN YOU DO NOT QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION--YOU MUST HAVE DELEGATION.

All candidates must be able to work independently, pass a background check, possess a CPR/First Aid card and be a team player with a positive attitude and be delegated or willing to be delegated for Med Assistance.

In short:

The Medication Assistant is a leader and a role model for his/her shift and is responsible for assisting with providing prescribed medications to residents according to physician orders and facility policies. Ensure accurate documentation of medication administration and monitor for side effects

The Medication Assistant is responsible for assuring effective communication with residents, families, physicians, outside agencies – and the notifying the DNS, or the Administrator of concerns and changes of condition. The Medication Assistant is key in developing, coordinating and performing the tasks on the service plan according to the resident’s preferences and abilities.

Leadership responsibilities include assuring that all tasks are complete on their assignment sheets list; including resident care, housekeeping, laundry, bathing, and assuring their residents participate in activities and outings.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
