Med Tech / Resident Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician (Med Tech) to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist in providing high-quality patient care across various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments. Your expertise will support the clinical team by performing essential medical procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring the safety and comfort of individuals with diverse needs such as dementia, Alzheimer's, developmental disabilities, and other chronic conditions. Duties

• Assist with patient care activities including vital signs monitoring, medication administration and hygiene assistance , housekeeping and meals.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient information and medical records.
• Assist with mobility support and activities of daily living for seniors.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or home care environments is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic nursing practices is essential.
• Familiarity with medical procedures including medication administration, vital signs measurement.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards.
