WeCare Centers at The Laurels Personal Care Home, is seeking a qualified Med Tech Trainer for our Personal Care Home in Wellsboro, PA.

This role is responsible for training, coaching, and recertifying Med Techs to support safe and accurate medication administration in our Personal Care Home.

Required Certification

Candidates must hold current Pennsylvania DHS Medication Administration Trainer certification and be authorized to train and recertify Med Techs/unlicensed staff in a Personal Care Home setting.

Responsibilities

• Train and recertify Med Techs according to PA DHS Medication Administration Training Program requirements

• Provide coaching, hands-on instruction, and competency validation

• Support safe medication administration practices and accurate documentation

• Maintain training and recertification records

• Partner with leadership to identify staff training needs

Qualifications

• Current PA DHS Medication Administration Trainer certification required

• Prior Med Tech experience required

• Personal Care Home experience preferred

• Training, mentoring, or precepting experience preferred

• Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
