<Responsibilities>
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications and treatments following prescribed protocols while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards
- Support specialized care needs including dementia, hospice, and senior care services
- Maintain detailed records of residents care activities using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like QuickMar; ensure confidentiality of all medical information
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate resident care plans and communicate changes or concerns effectively
<Skills>
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals or home & community care environments preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is highly valued
- Proficiency in medication administration
- Ability to operate EMR/EHR systems such as QuickMar efficiently; understanding of medical records management
- Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to senior care, dementia support, hospice services, and memory care
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards; ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
