Med Tech/Caregiver-Behavioral Health

As a caregiver with us, you will provide daily care to our residents by supporting their daily activities of living. This includes bathing/bathroom assistance and providing emotional support and encouragement and monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavioral needs, and overall necessities of our residents.

Work Location: 12353 SW Grant Ave, Tigard, OR 97223

Shift: Sun-Wed, Wed-Sat, 6-6. Wednesday is a half-shift.

Compensation: $19.00 to $22.50 per hour

Caregiver Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Assisting residents with ADLS
  • Teamwork, cooperation, training & development
  • Assist clients with personal care, which may include (but is not limited to):
    • Bathing/Bathroom Assistance
    • Morning/Evening Preparations
    • Morning/Evening Dress and attire
    • Provide emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks
    • Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and overall needs of clients
  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment for both residents and colleagues
  • Ability to correspond and document properly for resident charting purposes.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and ambulate quickly and often throughout a regular shift.
  • Must be able to pass a background check with the State of Oregon.

#CARESTAFF

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months' experience in behavioral health or similar preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a med tech if applying for Med Tech role
  • Speak, read and write English fluently
  • Value and respect of those in long-term care
  • Have consistent attendance/reliable method of transportation
  • Ability to correspond and document properly in charts and portal
