Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support within various medical settings. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, patient service, and documentation, as well as the ability to work effectively in critical care environments.

Duties

• Provide direct patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during treatment procedures.
• Assist with infectious disease care and catheter care, adhering to best practices and protocols.
• Conduct routine medical assessments and document findings accurately in patient records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
• Utilize knowledge of physiology to monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
• Engage in effective communication with patients and their families to provide education on health management.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with medical practices and technologies.

Experience

• Proven experience in a medical technician role or similar position is preferred.
• Familiarity with critical care settings is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation practices is essential.
• Experience in patient service, with a focus on delivering compassionate care.
• Knowledge of infectious disease protocols and catheter management is a plus.
• Ability to lift patients or equipment as necessary while ensuring safety standards are met.
