Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Perform routine medical tasks such as taking vital signs and administering medications as prescribed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the facility, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Support meal preparation and assist residents during mealtime, promoting nutritional needs.
- Drive residents to appointments or activities as needed, ensuring their safety during transportation.
- Uphold resident rights by fostering a respectful and dignified environment for all individuals.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Lift and assist residents as required while ensuring proper techniques are used for safety.
Requirements
- Previous experience in long-term care or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of resident rights and the ability to advocate for clients’ needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to lift patients safely and provide physical assistance when necessary.
- A valid driver’s license is required for transportation responsibilities.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all residents.
- Compassionate attitude towards working with people of varying abilities and backgrounds.
