Med Tech/Resident Aide

Chesapeake Manor Assisted Living is looking for individuals who have a passion for caring for the elderly.

Must be a reliable, hardworking, compassionate and motivated individual to add to our overnight team. Family owned and operated, we take pride in the excellent care given to our residents.

Medication Technician duties include but are not limited to:

Assistance with resident activities of daily living

Dressing, bathing, eating, toileting

Housekeeping/cleaning duties

Assist in monitoring the medication program.

Keep records updated in the medication administrative files.

Set-up and assist with self-administration of medication.

Keep all medications in their appropriate storage areas and keep medication cupboards, carts and doors locked at all times.

Keep medication files and medical records current and up to date.

Assist in updating the service plans and monthly care logs if needed.

Perform room visits and room checks on a regular basis.

May perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Current active certifications
• CMT with certificates preferred
• CPR/First Aid & AED Training
• 2 years experience in assisted living or long term care preferred
