Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care in an assisted living facility setting.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
- Provide support and assistance to patients with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
-Assist full care residents with daily ADL's such as toileting, showering, dressing.
-Daily changing of bed linens/does laundry per schedule.
-Follow daily shower schedule to ensure the cleanliness and good health of residents.
-Answer emergency call signals to determine resident's needs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience working in an ALF/rehab/nursing home is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic understanding of medical procedures.
-Med Tech certification a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
