Media Product Manager
to drive the evolution of the digital tools that power global newsrooms. These tools enable the planning, publishing, and distribution of short-form video, documentaries, and podcasts across multiple platforms.

Job Description

Streamline and optimize editorial workflows across planning, publishing, and metadata management.

Own the full product lifecycle—from user discovery to feature delivery.

Collaborate with editorial and engineering teams to align priorities, timelines, and solutions.

Lead product training and onboarding for newsroom teams in Arabic and English.

Create clear documentation for both technical and editorial audiences.

Define and execute metadata strategies to improve discoverability and content consistency.

Gather and analyze user feedback to shape roadmap priorities.

Communicate product vision, trade-offs, and progress with transparency.
Qualifications

Bilingual: Fluent in Arabic (MSA preferred) and English, with strong communication skills.

Strong stakeholder management and active listening abilities.

Technically fluent in cloud-based media systems, APIs, and content distribution workflows.

Strategic product thinker: balances MVP delivery with long-term scalability.

Confident decision-maker, able to prioritize effectively and provide clear rationale.

Collaborative and comfortable working across editorial and technical teams.

Background in editorial or newsroom environments (e.g., writer, editor, producer).

Hands-on experience with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Airtable, or Monday.com.

Familiarity with prompt engineering and large language models (LLMs).

Knowledge of A/B testing, user-centered design principles, and Agile practices.
