Duties

• Weekly Medicaid billing for Source, CCSP for EDWP clients.
• Follow up of Denials with case Mangers and billing specialist
• Post Medicaid remittance report on a weekly basis
• Ensure compliance with federal and state Medicaid regulations, including proper documentation and coding standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and insurance agencies to resolve billing issues promptly.
• Proven experience in medical billing, preferably within a long-term care or personal care home setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding procedures including DRG, CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10, and medical terminology.
• Familiarity with medical records management and electronic health record systems.
• Experience in medical collections and revenue cycle management is highly desirable.
• Prior work in a healthcare office environment with proficiency in EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
