This is a remote position with visits to facilities if needed. Applicant Must live in Chicagoland area.

Description:

The primary purpose of the Primary Medicaid Specialist Assistant with strong knowledge of Illinois Medicaid eligibility and processes’ in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities for Medicaid Specialist Assistant:

• Assisting/working with the Primary Medicaid Specialist with applications, document submission and other duties as assigned.
• Basic knowledge of Illinois Medicaid
• Ability to work independently on duties as assigned with proper notation and follow up.
• Other duties as assigned as by Medicaid Specialist and RBOM.

Qualifications for Medicaid Specialist:

• High school diploma or GED required, Associates or Bachelor degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently on duties a assigned with proper notation and follow up.
