Key Responsibilities:

As a Medical Administrative Assistant at Allentown Family Foot Care, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing insurance verification processes for prospective and current patients to ensure accurate billing and claims processing.
  • Efficiently checking in and checking out patients, including processing various methods of payment with professionalism and accuracy.
  • Interacting with patients in a warm and friendly manner, providing assistance and information as needed to create a welcoming environment.
  • Scheduling appointments for both current and prospective patients via telephone, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
  • Assisting with various office duties to maintain the overall efficiency of the medical practice and ensure compliance with standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • A basic understanding of medical terminology.

Preferred:

  • One year of experience working in a medical office environment
  • Advanced computer and data entry skills.
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus.
