About the Role

As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting both the patient experience and the day-to-day operations of the clinic.

This position combines front office responsibilities, patient coordination, medical records management, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with electronic medical records, and enjoys interacting with patients in a professional and compassionate manner.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient communications
  • Maintain and update patient records within the electronic medical record (EMR) system
  • Collect, verify, and organize patient documentation and required forms
  • Assist with patient intake, onboarding, and administrative workflows
  • Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and accurate documentation
  • Scan, upload, and maintain medical records and other clinic documentation
  • Ensure patient information is accurate, complete, and up to date
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
  • Support general office operations and administrative projects as needed

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a medical office, healthcare setting, or specialty clinic preferred
  • Experience working with EMR systems (Athena experience is a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
  • Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
