Medical Administrative Assistant/ billing and marketing experience

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant with billing and marketing experience to join our healthcare team. Duties

  • Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out procedures with enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Handle all aspects of medical billing, including coding, submitting claims, following up on unpaid claims, and ensuring accurate record-keeping
  • Maintain and update patient records in compliance with privacy regulations and practice policies
  • Assist with marketing efforts by creating promotional materials, managing social media accounts, and engaging with community outreach activities
  • Coordinate communication between patients, providers, insurance companies, and vendors to ensure seamless information flow
  • Manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries promptly, and direct messages appropriately to support efficient office operations
  • Support administrative tasks such as inventory management, faxing, scanning documents, and preparing reports to keep the office running smoothly

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Medical Administrative Assistant with a strong understanding of medical billing procedures and coding systems (such as CPT and ICD codes)
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy healthcare environment
  • Strong communication skills—both verbal and written—to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external partners
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and billing software to ensure accurate data entry and claim processing
  • Creative mindset for marketing activities including content creation, social media management, and community engagement strategies
  • Ability to prioritize tasks proactively while maintaining attention to detail under pressure
