Charleston Oculofacial Plastic Surgery is led by a wonderful team and Dr. Rakesh Patel focusing exclusively on cosmetic eyelid surgery and facial rejuvenation. We are committed to delivering elegant, natural-looking results in a warm, refined, and highly personalized environment.

We are seeking an experienced, polished, and personable Medical Aesthetician to join our team on a part-time basis to help grow our non-surgical aesthetics offerings.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a physician-led, luxury practice focused on natural-looking results and an exceptional patient experience.

Position Overview

The Medical Aesthetician will provide aesthetic treatments 1 to 3 days per week, primarily on days when Dr. Patel is in the operating room. The ideal candidate is warm, professional, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients look and feel their best.

This individual should be comfortable working independently, building long-term patient relationships, and contributing to the growth of the aesthetic side of the practice.

Please note: This position is specifically for a licensed aesthetician and does not include injectable treatments such as neurotoxins (e.g., Botox Cosmetic, Dysport) or dermal fillers (e.g., Juvederm, Restylane). We are not seeking a nurse injector or anyone whose primary focus is injectable treatments.

• Customized facials
• Chemical peels
• Dermaplaning
• Brow lamination
• Lash lifts and tints
• Microneedling
• Product recommendations and skincare sales

Compensation

• Part-time W-2 employee position
• Percentage of collected service revenue
• Commission on skincare sales
• Compensation structure tailored to experience and productivity

Schedule

• 1 to 3 days per week and more when Dr. Patel is out of the country
• Flexible schedule based on treatment room availability and patient demand

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina esthetician license
• Experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, facial plastics, or a luxury spa setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of skincare products and treatment protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and polished bedside manner
• Highly organized, self-directed, and detail-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio of before-and-after photos
• Existing patient following
• Interest in social media and patient education
