The Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Medical Aesthetician to join our team. This position is available as either full-time or part-time, and we welcome candidates who are excited about delivering exceptional aesthetic results, holistic health, building lasting patient relationships, and actively contributing to practice growth through consultative sales and brand representation.

As a Medical Aesthetician at Roots, you will play a key role in delivering treatments, educating patients on our products and service packages, and creating an outstanding patient experience that reflects the Roots brand. What You’ll Do

Clinical Aesthetics & Device Expertise

• Perform high-quality aesthetic treatments including HydraFacials, laser treatments, and BTL device-based procedures within your scope of practice and licensure
• Operate and maintain all BTL aesthetic devices (such as Emsculpt, Emtone, Exion, and related platforms) with proficiency and in accordance with manufacturer protocols
• Deliver laser-based treatments safely and effectively, adhering to all laser safety standards and regulations
• Conduct thorough client consultations including skin analysis, medical and aesthetic history review, goal setting, and customized treatment planning
• Educate patients on treatment benefits, risks, expected outcomes, contraindications, and aftercare
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system (Aesthetic Record, RepeatMD)
• Monitor patient response during and after treatments and escalate concerns to medical leadership as needed
• Assist with team training

Sales, Patient Experience & Brand Representation

• Deliver an exceptional, consistent, and professional patient experience that reflects and elevates the Roots brand
• Actively sell and promote treatment packages, memberships, and skincare products through ethical, consultative selling that prioritizes patient needs and goals
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with patients through education, empathy, and attentive service that keeps them coming back
• Serve as a brand ambassador for Roots products and services, ensuring patients understand the full value of what we offer
• Support patient retention through thoughtful re-booking, follow-up recommendations, and continuity of care
• Address patient questions, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally

Operations & Compliance

• Maintain valid licensure (including laser certification), all required certifications, and compliance with state and federal regulations
• Keep treatment rooms, equipment, and workspaces clean, safe, and ready for use
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and care of devices, supplies, and products
• Assist with inventory management for relevant products and supplies
• Uphold professional conduct, appearance, and ethical standards at all times

Collaboration, Marketing & Growth

• Collaborate with providers, the medical director, and support staff to optimize care and practice performance
• Stay current with industry trends, new products, and evolving aesthetic techniques through continuing education
• Contribute to patient retention strategies and cross-promotion of services
• Support marketing efforts by curating before-and-after content, educational posts, and day-in-the-life social media content (with patient consent and HIPAA compliance)
• Host and participate in community events, educational workshops, and team training initiatives

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• Licensed Medical Aesthetician (or Esthetician with medical aesthetics experience) in the state of Florida
• Valid laser certification/licensure as required by the state of Florida
• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in a medical aesthetics or dermatology setting
• Demonstrated experience operating BTL aesthetic devices (Emsculpt, Emtone, Exion, or similar platforms) with appropriate licensure
• Proven sales experience with a track record of successfully selling treatment packages, memberships, and retail skincare products
• Strong clinical knowledge in aesthetics and dermatology

Schedule

Full-Time:

• 10am - 7pm – Tuesday to Friday
• 9am - 3pm Saturdays (By Appointment Only)
• Hours of operation: Monday–Friday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Saturday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
