ABOUT TKI & THIS ROLE
The Kaga Institute of Medicine & Aesthetics is not your average med spa. We operate advanced laser platforms including Excel V+, Enlighten, Secret RF, Sofwave, and XEO+ — and we use them at a clinical depth that most practices don't reach. Our Medical Director is a KOL and educator in aesthetic medicine. When you work here, you are working in an environment where clinical excellence and science-backed outcomes are the only acceptable standard.

We are looking for a Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician who is serious about the craft — someone who geeks out on skin physiology, cares about real results, and wants to build an expertise-driven book of business in a practice that will support your growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform advanced laser and energy-based device treatments across our full platform — laser hair removal, skin resurfacing, pigmentation, vascular, body contouring, and RF microneedling
• Conduct thorough patient consultations, set realistic expectations, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Execute facial aesthetic treatments including medical-grade peels, advanced facials, and device-assisted protocols
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of TKI's clinical protocols, contraindications, and safety standards
• Uphold meticulous sanitation, equipment maintenance, and treatment area standards
• Collaborate with injectors and internal medicine providers on combination treatment pathways
• Support in-practice education events, marketing content creation, and social engagement when appropriate
• Track patient outcomes, maintain clinical documentation, and contribute to protocol refinement

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Active NJ Esthetician license required; laser certification required or ability to certify promptly
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with energy-based devices in a clinical or medical aesthetic setting
• Experience with one or more of the following platforms is a strong advantage: Excel V+, Enlighten, Secret RF, Sofwave, XEO+
• Deep knowledge of skin physiology, Fitzpatrick typing, and laser safety principles
• Consultation skills that convert — you educate, you don't pressure
• Professional presentation and interpersonal warmth that builds loyal patient relationships
• Commutable to Marlboro, NJ (primary location); East Brunswick travel as needed
