Medical Appt Transporter

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Transporter to join our team. The Transporter plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our clients to their medical appointments. This position requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport patients to and from various locations.
• Assist patients in boarding and disembarking from transport vehicles, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Monitor patients during transport, providing reassurance and basic care as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient transport activities, including time of transport and any special requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure timely and effective patient care & transport.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.
• Participate in training sessions related to patient care, basic life support, and critical care transport as required.

Skills

• Knowledge of critical care transport procedures is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients and their families.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
