Medical Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering top-notch patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. The Medical Assistant will work closely with our physicians and other medical professionals to provide quality care to patients in our Rheumatology Office

Duties:
- Perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, including conducting medical histories and performing routine medical tests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to HIPAA standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering patient questions and addressing concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Support the smooth operation of the clinic, including preparing exam rooms and assisting with administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience preferred
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) or willingness to obtain certification within a reasonable time frame.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills:
- Ability to take vital signs accurately.
- Ability to work in a clinic setting and provide quality care to patients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
