Medical Assistant

We are a FQHC, currently seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) for an opening at our Luling Community Health Center location.

Responsibilities:

As a Medical Assistant with us, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive top-notch healthcare in a friendly and comfortable environment. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures,

• Record patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately,

• Prepare and administer medications as directed by providers,

• Perform administrative tasks, including managing patient records, and

• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.

Additionally, you will interact closely with patients, making them feel at ease while assisting with any concerns they may have.

Qualifications:

• Completion of a certified Medial Assistant program with phlebotomy, required,
• Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude towards patients,
• Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer skills,
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, and
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
