Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant/Surgical Assistant to join our dynamic and fast-paced medical team! This role provides coverage across our Winter Haven, Davenport, Lakeland, Clermont, and Lake Wales locations, with potential travel to surrounding counties as needed. The ability to travel and maintain schedule flexibility is an essential function of this position.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our providers and assist in both clinical and surgical procedures. The role requires travel between multiple office locations. Transportation is typically via company vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist providers with patient care and surgical procedures
Scribe accurately and efficiently on an iPad using EMR systems
Perform clinical duties such as rooming patients, taking vitals, and preparing procedure rooms
Maintain strong organization and attention to detail in a busy environment
Collaborate effectively with team members across multiple offices

Position Details:

Full-time position with variable hours, including overtime, depending on office schedules
Fast-paced, hands-on environment requiring flexibility and adaptability
Travel throughout our clinic locations (company vehicle provided to some locations)

Requirements:

Medical Assistant experience required (Surgical experience preferred)
Proficient in EMR systems and able to scribe at a rapid pace
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Strong team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
