Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This position requires proficiency in medical terminology, vital signs assessment, and basic life support, along with the ability to support healthcare professionals in various medical procedures.

Duties

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in outpatient environments.
• Perform routine clinical tasks including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and documenting medical histories, performing injections and blood draws, laboratory processing.
• Ensure accurate handling of medical records and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient service and care.

Experience

• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Experience with patient service roles that emphasize empathy and effective communication skills.
