In this fast-paced position, you'll provide direct patient care and assist our providers in delivering a range of services, including medical, behavioral health, specialty, and mobile clinic offerings. WHAT MATTERS MOST

A high school diploma or equivalent is a must, along with effective communication and interpersonal abilities that foster trust with patients and colleagues alike. You must be able to remain calm and effective, especially in high-stress situations, while meeting the physical demands of the role.

An AHA BLS certification or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire is required, with training provided. Preferred qualifications include training or certification as a Medical Assistant or EMT, knowledge of medical terminology, and experience in community health or outreach. If you have strong customer service skills and align with our values, you'll excel in this role!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills with attention to accuracy and prioritization
• Ability to maintain required trainings and certifications
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
• Ability to meet physical demands of the role
• AHA BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire (training provided)
• Successful completion of background check as required

Preferred:

• Training or certification as a Medical Assistant or EMT; graduation from an accredited program preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Experience in community health, outreach or care for individuals experiencing homelessness
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team-based environment
• Strong customer service skills and alignment with Fourth Street Clinic’s mission
