Job Summary: Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced clinical team. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask efficiently, demonstrate strong clinical and administrative skills, and maintain a high standard of patient care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform patient triage, including obtaining vital signs and documenting medical histories
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments while maintaining accurate provider schedules
• Complete and process FMLA paperwork in a timely and accurate manner
• Schedule and obtain prior authorizations (precertifications) for radiology procedures
• Precert outpatient hospital services and other medical procedures
• Assist providers with in-office procedures using proper sterile technique
• Work within multiple EMR systems, including Epic
• Stock and prepare exam rooms with necessary medical supplies
• Ensure smooth patient flow in a high-volume clinical environment

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced medical office setting
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique
• Proficiency in multiple EMR systems, including Epic
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure

Pay: $19.00 per hour
