JOB TITLE: Medical Assistant
LOCATION: Plantation, FL
PAY: up to $22/hr.

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support our clinical and administrative operations. The ideal candidate is organized, compassionate, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, including taking vital signs and medical histories
• Assist physicians during procedures and examinations
• Administer injections and medications as directed
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health systems
• Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
• Perform basic lab tests and handle specimens
• Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready
• Provide exceptional patient care and support

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or relevant healthcare certification preferred
• Previous experience in a clinical setting is an advantage
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
