Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to support both front desk operations and medical assistant duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Office / Reception Duties:

  • Greet patients warmly and provide excellent customer service
  • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Verify insurance, collect copays, and manage basic billing tasks
  • Maintain accurate patient records and scan/upload documents into the EHR
  • Manage check-in/check-out processes efficiently

Clinical / Medical Assistant Duties:

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories
  • Prepare patients for provider visits and assist with procedures as needed
  • Perform EKGs, urine drug screens, injections, and phlebotomy (if trained)
  • Maintain exam rooms, stock supplies, and follow infection control protocols
  • Assist with medication reconciliation and prior authorizations as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Compassionate, professional demeanor with sensitivity to client needs
  • Ability to multitask in a clinical environment
  • Prior experience in healthcare, office, or customer service setting preferred but not required (training provided)

Schedule & Compensation

  • Full-time (Monday-Thursday 8 am- 5 pm, Fridays 8 am- 12pm
  • Competitive hourly pay ($16.00-$20.00 Hourly), commensurate with experience

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
