Medical Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in various medical settings.

Duties
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting with procedures
- Administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
- Conduct basic laboratory tests
- Provide patient service by answering questions, scheduling appointments, and maintaining medical records
- Support medical administrative tasks including billing and coding

Qualifications
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Experience in urgent care, inpatient, or hospital settings is preferred
- monitoring vital signs
- Familiarity with clinic is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
