Position Overview

The Medical Assistant will play a key role in supporting providers and ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This individual will assist with clinical procedures, patient intake, and day-to-day operations within a hormone wellness clinic environment. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced medical setting centered around preventative and wellness-based care.


Key Responsibilities

  • Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication lists.
  • Prepare patients for provider examinations and assist with in-office procedures when needed.
  • Support hormone therapy programs through lab coordination, patient education, and follow-up scheduling.
  • Administer injections and assist with blood draws (phlebotomy experience preferred).
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Coordinate laboratory testing and ensure timely follow-up on results.
  • Manage patient communication including appointment scheduling, follow-ups, and care instructions.
  • Maintain exam rooms, medical supplies, and ensure clinical areas meet cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Provide a welcoming, professional, and high-quality patient experience aligned with a wellness-focused practice.

Qualifications

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (CMA/RMA).
  • 1–3+ years of experience in a medical clinic or outpatient setting.
  • Experience with injections and phlebotomy strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical documentation.
  • Strong communication and patient service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Interest in wellness, preventative medicine, or hormone optimization is a plus.
