Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting symptoms accurately.
• Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit.
• Support clinical procedures such as administering medications, assisting with minor surgical interventions, collecting samples in outpatient settings.
• Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR systems), including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures to ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Manage medical supplies, and assist with specimen collection to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency.

Experience

• Prior experience working in medical/surgical clinic, urgent care, or emergency medicine environments is highly valued.
• Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology to provide effective patient support.
• Hands-on experience with EHR systems and ICD coding processes for accurate documentation.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
