Fast Aid Urgent Care is a leading, locally veteran-owned and operated, walk-in urgent care company with clinics in San Antonio, New Braunfels, Bastrop, Dripping Springs, La Grange, Potranco, and HWY 151 in TX, as well in Belle Chasse, LA just south of New Orleans. Our highly qualified, friendly, and caring medical staff are pleased to treat patients from these communities as well as their surrounding areas.

We currently have an MA opening in our Belle Chasse clinic. We are looking for an experienced MA who is a motivated team player and is ready and willing to be part of an amazing team and culture.

8732 LA-23 Suite A, Belle Chasse, LA 70037

Responsibilities:

• Triages patients, escorts patients to exam rooms, and interviews patients
• Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations
• Assists providers in exam rooms
• Draws blood, removes sutures, changes dressings
• Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical record
• Registers patients, verify insurance, and answer phones
• Conducts patient testing such as COVID, flu, strep
• Performs additional duties as necessary

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and
• Completed an approved Medical Assistant Training Program
• Certification is not required but preferred
