Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring high-quality patient care. This position requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of medical terminology.

Duties

• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, chart preparation and preparing patients for examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the clinic
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in patient service, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and coding practices is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining patient records.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred but not mandatory.
• Travel to different office locations as needed
