Medical Assistant

Job Overview

We are seeking a polished, detail oriented, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join LAWA Longevity Club, a luxury wellness and medical longevity center focused on proactive, root cause care. This role supports a membership based model that blends advanced diagnostics, intravenous therapy, regenerative medicine, aesthetics, and performance recovery services.

The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly organized, and confident supporting both clinical and hospitality level member experience. You will assist providers during procedures, keep clinical operations running smoothly, and help create a safe, elevated environment where members feel cared for from arrival to follow up.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome members and guide them through a premium check in experience including consent verification, intake completion, and service flow
  • Maintain a high touch, hospitality oriented approach while protecting privacy and confidentiality
  • Coordinate member schedules across medical and wellness services to ensure smooth transitions and minimal wait times
  • Communicate clearly with members about what to expect before, during, and after services within MA scope

Clinical intake, blood draws, and documentation

  • Perform intake procedures including medical history updates, medication reconciliation support, allergies review, and screening questionnaires as directed
  • Record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respirations, oxygen saturation, and pain scores
  • Document accurately in the EHR including rooming notes, procedure support documentation, and follow up tasks
  • Perform blood draws and specimen collection if trained and permitted, following clinic protocols for patient identification, labeling, handling, and transport
  • Prepare members for phlebotomy visits by explaining the process, supporting comfort, and monitoring for any immediate reactions such as dizziness or bruising
  • Support diagnostic tracking for membership care plans such as lab draw scheduling and result routing to the clinical team

IV therapy and injection support

  • Prepare IV suites and ensure readiness for member visits including supplies, sterile field setup as applicable, and comfort items
  • Assist providers with IV therapy workflow including venipuncture support if trained and permitted, line setup support, monitoring support, and post visit wrap up per protocol
  • Support injection based visits as directed such as trigger point injections and perineural injection visits by preparing rooms, supplies, and aftercare instructions
  • Monitor for adverse reactions and escalate promptly per clinic emergency protocols

Regenerative medicine support

  • Assist with regenerative procedures such as PRP visits by prepping kits and supplies, supporting sterile workflow, and managing procedure room turnover
  • Coordinate pre procedure and post procedure steps including photo documentation support when applicable and aftercare packet review within scope
  • Maintain strict infection control standards and support instrument processing and room sanitation between members

Aesthetics and device based treatments support

  • Prepare treatment rooms for aesthetics visits such as laser and other energy based services including supplies, photography setup, and safety checks
  • Support provider workflow by ensuring correct consumables, device readiness checks per protocol, and post procedure education materials
  • Reinforce pre and post care instructions and help members understand timelines and what to report

Wellness services coordination

  • Coordinate member flow with performance and recovery services such as contrast therapy, red light therapy, and fitness technologies
  • Provide orientation on wellness spaces, safety expectations, and comfort setup while maintaining a calm, luxury environment
  • Communicate with the wellness team to ensure rooms are ready, schedules are aligned, and member goals are supported

Administrative and operations support

  • Schedule appointments, manage reminders, and support membership visit cadence and recurring services
  • Verify required documentation, collect signatures and initials, and ensure consents are complete before services
  • Support inventory tracking for IV supplies, regenerative supplies, and clinical consumables, including ordering support and restocking
  • Maintain clinic readiness including crash cart checks, emergency supply checks, and daily opening and closing workflows
  • Uphold HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and clinic SOP standards at all times

Requirements

  • Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting such as primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, dermatology, med spa, or wellness clinic
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and clinical documentation
  • Comfort with EHR documentation and patient facing communication
  • Ability to support fast paced clinical flow while maintaining a calm, premium member experience
  • High attention to detail, strong organization, and reliability with protocols and safety standards
  • Current Basic Life Support certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Phlebotomy experience and comfort with specimen handling and lab logistics
  • IV therapy experience in a clinic setting
  • Experience assisting with sterile procedures such as injections or PRP support
  • Aesthetics or dermatology experience including photo documentation and aftercare education
  • Experience in concierge medicine, luxury service environments, or membership based practices

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
