Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Medical Assistant located in Smyrna, TN. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing patient care, managing medical records, and assisting with various clinical and administrative duties. Responsibilities include preparing patients for examinations, maintaining medical supplies, updating patient files, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth office operations in a pediatric environment. The Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians and other healthcare staff to support quality care delivery.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Medical Assisting, including patient preparation and procedural support
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and familiarity with medical office workflows
• Experience in managing Medical Records and ensuring accurate documentation
• Strong Patient Care skills with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for children
• Organizational and multitasking abilities to support smooth clinic operations
• Valid certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and patient families
