Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care in a medical setting.

Duties
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks to support healthcare providers
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Take patient medical histories and vital signs
- Assist with medical procedures as needed
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Handle medical billing and coding tasks

Experience
- Required skills in internal medicine, patient care, hospital procedures, medical administrative support, and medical terminology
- Nice-to-have experience in emergency medicine, outpatient care, operating room (OR) procedures, and dermatology
- Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour
