Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and ensuring comfort.
• Assist healthcare providers during patient exams and procedures with professionalism and efficiency.
• Collect and process laboratory specimens, perform basic diagnostic tests, and manage medical supplies inventory.
• Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle administrative duties such as billing and insurance documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to infection control protocols.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and health maintenance tips with clear communication.
• Support telehealth sessions by setting up equipment and facilitating smooth virtual consultations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical setting while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer skills required.

Pay: $22.00 - $27.60 per hour
