Position Overview:
As a Medical Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our office, supporting patients and medical professionals with your organizational and communication skills. If you have a positive attitude, enjoy multitasking, and have a keen eye for detail, we’d love to meet you! Your responsibilities will range from assisting with patient care to maintaining an efficient back-office environment. You will be a key part of a collaborative team that ensures excellent patient experiences every day.
Key Responsibilities:

Patient Checkout & Care: Complete back-office checkouts, ensuring smooth transitions for patients as they prepare for their next steps.

Chart Preparation & Imaging: Handle chart prep and assist with outgoing referrals to specialists, imaging orders, and follow-ups.

Triage & Rooming: Take patient histories, triage calls, and room patients efficiently, making them feel comfortable and supported.

Scheduling Assistance: Coordinate with the receptionist and procedure scheduler for follow-up appointments and/or schedule patient follow-up appointments.

In-Office Assistance: Help with in-office injections and various procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

EMR & Documentation: Scan, organize, and verify chart notes in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Back Office Support: Maintain a clean, organized back office and assist with medical instrument preparation and sterilization.

Team Support: Collaborate with team members, Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants and anesthesia team to promote a smooth workflow and ensure quality care.

Continuous Improvement: Support quality initiatives, improve departmental communication, and contribute to a positive working environment.
What We’re Looking For:

Strong Communication Skills: You should be an excellent communicator with both patients and colleagues.

Detail-Oriented: A great attention to detail is a must, especially when it comes to charting, rooming patients, and managing patient information.

Multitasker: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently without compromising on quality or patient care.

Proven Experience: Experience in medical assisting, pain management, EMR systems, or vital sign monitoring is highly preferred, but we’re open to training the right person.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Compensation & Benefits:

Competitive Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)
