Medical Assistant – Primary Care (3+ Years Experience Required)
Primary Care Medical Associates

Primary Care Medical Associates is seeking a highly experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing primary care team. This position requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a Primary Care setting (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine). Candidates without this experience will not be considered.

We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• At least 3 years of experience in Primary Care (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine)
• Working knowledge of eClinicalWorks (eCW) electronic medical record system
• Strong clinical and administrative skills
• Excellent patient communication and professionalism
• Ability to multitask and manage patient flow efficiently

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and medication reconciliation
• Prepare patients for examination and assist providers with procedures
• Document patient encounters in eClinicalWorks
• Process medication refills and prior authorizations
• Perform point-of-care testing (urinalysis, rapid tests, etc.)
• Coordinate labs, imaging orders, and referrals
• Administer injections and vaccines per provider orders
• Maintain exam rooms and ensure proper clinical workflow
• Provide outstanding patient service and support

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
• Experience with chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia)
• Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations
• Strong knowledge of preventive care and quality measures
