Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated team member with experience in respiratory and sleep medicine to join our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by preparing exam rooms and providing necessary supplies and instruments
- Room patients, obtain vitals, and accurately document patient history, medications, and chief complaints
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain instructions clearly, and ensure patient comfort
- Perform basic clinical tasks such as specimen collection, injections, and assisting with minor procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, scheduling, and follow-up communications
Clinical & Diagnostic Responsibilities:
- Perform Pulmonary Function Tests (PFTs)
- Conduct 6-minute walk tests
- Assist with biologic therapy coordination and administration
Sleep & Respiratory Experience Required:
- Experience with Inspire device therapy (preferred)
- PAP therapy management, including compliance review and troubleshooting
- SD card downloads and reporting
Requirements
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Handle prior authorizations and insurance coordination
- Enter data across multiple hospital EMR systems
- Maintain clinic cleanliness, sterilize equipment, and restock supplies
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical assistant
- Previous experience in pulmonary, sleep, or respiratory care preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
