Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, assisting with medical procedures, and ensuring smooth administrative workflows within a fast-paced medical environment. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in delivering quality healthcare services while maintaining compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and verifying insurance information
• Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy
• Manage documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems accurately and efficiently
• Support medical administrative tasks including appointment scheduling, ICD coding, and maintaining patient records
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent certification preferred
• Prior experience as Medical Assistant
• Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding, anatomy, physiology, and medication administration
• Experience working with EHR systems, (EPIC) a plus
• Strong patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery
• Ability to work effectively in an outpatient enviroment.
