Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including taking patient medical histories, measuring vital signs, assisting with examinations
-Prepare and administer medications, including injections under the supervision of licensed health care provider
- Collaborate with healthcare team members
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions and preventive measures
- Collect and process laboratory specimens
-Update patient records, enter test results, and maintain confidentiality
-Answer phones, greet patients, and provide information about the practice.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and sterile processing techniques
- Experience in obesity and diabetes management is a plus
- Understanding of laboratory procedures and specimen collection
