Duties
- Assist with patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates.
- Perform blood draws, process blood and urine samples and ensure timely lab collection.
- Prepare examination rooms, clean equipment, and ensure all clinical areas are clean and organized to promote infection control.
- Support physicians during procedures by handing instruments, preparing supplies, and managing patient comfort.
- Document patient interactions accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures.
- Teach patients how to administer injections, use continuous glucose monitors.
- Manage administrative tasks like scheduling appointments, arranging for medical treatments, answering patient questions and maintaining patient records with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in clinical environments such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency departments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of endocrinology or internal medicine, geriatrics is a plus.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and familiarity with ICD coding and medical terminology are essential.
- Phlebotomy skills are essential.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations.
- Ability to perform clinical duties such as taking vital signs, assisting with intake processes, and supporting medication administration confidently.

Pay: $24.96 - $30.00 per hour
