Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bilingual Spanish/English Medical Assistant to join our Chiropractic team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced medical environment. This position involves working in various settings, including physical therapy and front seat duties. The Medical Assistant will assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks and ensure that patients receive high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with translation for our Spanish speaking patients.
• Perform routine clinical tasks, including documenting patient historys.
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment.
• Support patient care by preparing patients for examinations and explaining procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of physiology to effectively assist in patient assessments and treatments.
• Email attorneys for liability status. Send out MRI referrals and ortho referrals.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in chiropractic treatment.
• Strong understanding of patient care
• Familiarity with medical administrative tasks, including electronic health record management.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient interactions.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required; relevant experience will be considered.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective patient interaction.
