Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures, including collecting vital signs and updating medical histories using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring comfort throughout their visit
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as administering medications, performing basic life support (BLS).
• Conduct patient assessments including intake, vital signs measurement, and basic physiology and anatomy evaluations
• Manage medical documentation accurately, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures in compliance with healthcare standards
• Provide medical administrative support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coordinating follow-up care

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar clinical support role within hospital or outpatient settings
• Familiarity with EHR systems and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medication administration protocols, and patient service principles.
