Duties

• Support physicians and nurses by preparing examination rooms, and managing supplies for outpatient clinic.
• Perform patient intake procedures, including collecting medical histories and documenting vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature.
• Operate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to document patient information accurately .
• Assist with ICD coding (International Classification of Diseases) for billing and documentation purposes while ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards.
• Answer phones and make appointments for patients and be able to take an accurate message and return phone calls.

Qualifications

• experience in an outpatient setting in back and front office is highly desirable
• Familiarity with EHR systems and ICD coding practices to streamline patient records management.
• Strong communication skills with a focus on delivering exceptional patient services.

Pay: $24.36 - $29.33 per hour
