Seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated team member for a Medical Assistant role in a fast-paced orthopedic office. Will provide on-the-job training.

Qualifications:

• Previous medical experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy is a must

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Rooming patients, gathering medical history and ensuring appropriate documents are in patient charts
• Aid providers in examining and treating patients by handing them instruments and performing basic clinical procedures such as preparing injections and removing staples
• Transcribe information during clinical visits in real time into electronic health records (EHRs), thoroughly recording all elements of patient encounters
• Prepare and maintain the appearance of examination rooms, ensuring rooms are stocked and ready for provider use
• Answer a multi-line phone, handling patients' medical questions
• Uphold the positive reputation of our medical office by always treating visitors in a friendly, welcoming, and compassionate manner
• Multi-task and handle critical issues as they arise
• Perform other clinical and clerical duties as assigned by office managers and/or providers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
