Medical Assistant

Join our healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your dedication and attention to detail will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. This essential role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities to support seamless daily operations and enhance the overall patient experience.

In this position, you will prepare for patient visits by organizing charts and reviewing notes in advance, provide routine clinical support to providers, and assist in tracking tests and reports to ensure timely results and clear communication with patients regarding their care.

Additional responsibilities include managing medical supply inventory, setting up and maintaining equipment, and cleaning instruments and exam rooms in accordance with established safety standards. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine interest in professional growth within a clinical environment. Previous office experience is preferred.

Duties

• Perform patient intake procedures, including recording medical histories and current concerns
• Measure and document vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration rate)
• Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks, including medication administration and basic procedures
• Accurately maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR)
• Prepare exam rooms and support providers during patient examinations
• Perform basic diagnostic procedures, including specimen collection
• Manage medical supply inventory and ensure proper sterilization of equipment
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring patient comfort

Skills

• Strong understanding of medical terminology and basic anatomy
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems
• Ability to perform patient intake, vital sign measurement, and basic clinical tasks with confidence
• Excellent interpersonal and patient service skills with a compassionate approach
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
