Medical Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient service and support within a fast-paced medical environment. This position requires a strong understanding of patient care and the ability to work effectively in a fast paced multispecialty clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical histories.
• Provide support ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and examination rooms.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care in a clinical setting.
• Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a medical assistant role or similar healthcare position is preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology is essential.
• Familiarity with healthcare policy and procedures is helpful.
• Experience working in high-acuity environments is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team while demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
• Phlebotomy Skills is a plus.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
